Woman Struck by Train in Wilmington

A woman was struck by an Amtrak train as she crossed a set of tracks in Wilmington last night.  An ID on the victim has not yet been released by the Will County Coroner’s office who say she was crossing the tracks on North Kankakee Street near Chicago Street when she was struck around 8:30 last night.  We don’t believe anyone on the train was hurt in the incident.
