R. Kelly trial continues in Chicago today

Witness testimony will continue today in R. Kelly’s federal trial in Chicago.  Federal prosecutors and defense attorneys delivered opening statements yesterday.  Kelly’s lawyer described him as a victim of “financial exploitation and extortion.”  After opening statements, prosecutors called three witnesses.  The singer faces child pornography and obstruction of justice charges.
