Will County prisoner dies while in custody

The Will County Sheriff’s Police report t he death of an inmate at the Will County Jail. In a press release, the Will County Sheriff’s Office says deputies were dispatched to the jail just before midnight Friday night as a escort to the hospital for a inmate that was found unresponsive. Officials haven’t released a name, but do say the inmate was 78-years-old and form Crest Hill. The Will County Sheriff’s Office, Will County Coroner’s Office and the Will County State’s Attorney’s office are investigating the death.
