Aurora man found guillty after 50 mile chase

An Aurora man who robbed a Pontiac Gas Station at gunpoint in January, and then led police on a 50 mile chase that went on for 6 hours and reached speeds of 100 miles an hour before he crashed into three homes in Kankakee on West Station Street, was found guilty last Friday in Livingston County Court.  No one was hurt in the robbery or the chase.  37 year old Jarvis Postlewaite was arrested after he was tazed and taken down by officers.  Police say they found a gun where Poslewaite was tackled.  He’s a career criminal and could get life in prison when sentenced.
