Kankakee City Police make arrest for alleged home invasion

Kankakee City Police report a home invasion. According to reports officers were called to a home in the 200 block of North New Street just after 5:30 Monday night for a man who reported he’d been robbed. The man told police he was in his bedroom when two men pushed they way in, took some cannabis and his wallet. The victim said the pair then left and as he shut the door behind them one of the men allegedly fired a shot through the door. Following an investigation, City Police arrested 32-year-old Enoch D. Harris on Home Invasion charges.
