Woman Shot in Kankakee

City police report a woman was shot over the weekend in Kankakee.  The victim was in her vehicle in the 200 block of south Elm when she told officers she heard a gunshot.  Police ended up finding 3, spent 9m shell casings in the street.  There’s no word on how serious the wound is.  Police are looking for the gunman.
