Monday Storms

The clean-up continues today after strong storms moved across Kankakee County Monday afternoon. There are reports of wind gusts of up to 80 miles an hour in parts of the county downing tree limbs and powerlines. ComEd says there are still 30 or so outages in the county affecting some 80 customers. They expect to have the power fully restored in Kankakee County by 1:30 this afternoon.
