A bench trial is set to start tomorrow in Iroquois County Court for the founder of a now closed animal shelter in Thawville where hundreds of animal carcasses were found three years ago. 40 year old Corinne N. DiLorenzo faces up to a possible 3 years in prison if found guilty. Some of the dead animals found at the Earth Advocates Animal Sanctuary at the time included dogs, cats, rabbits, pigs, birds, raccoons, goats and turtles.
