Man was shot in Pembroke Township

A man was shot over the weekend in Pembroke Township.  The victim was struck in the back.   Kankakee County Sheriff’s police say the man is not cooperating, only saying the shooting took place somewhere in Pembroke Township.  He was taken to the hospital for treatment after knocking on the doors of random homes in the area of 11,250 East looking for help.
