Shots were fired Tuesday in normally quiet Frankfort Township. Will County Sheriff’s police say they received a 911 call just before 11 in the morning reporting several men arguing in the 8300 block of W. Chestnut Court followed by gunfire. Police say their investigation turned up multiple spent shell casings and gunfire damage to a nearby vehicle. Police say they have located the guns owner who says the gun went off several times when he dropped it, but police say his explanation doesn’t make sense. No arrests have yet been made.
