A woman who allegedly threatened to kill members of the family next door and their dog had to be carried to the squad car when she refused to cooperate while being arrested last Thursday. It happened in Rensselaer in the 400 block of Smith Street. Police say while being questioned, 30 year old Megan Morris first tried to flee inside then struggled with officers. Once handcuffed, police say Morris refused to stand or walk, so they carried her to the squad. She was taken to the Jasper County Jail to face charges of intimidation and resisting arrest.
