BBCHS Budget Includes 3.2 Million Deficit

The fiscal 2023 budget for Bradley Bourbonnais Community High School District 307 shows a deficit of over 3.2 million dollars. And officials say you should expect another deficit in 2024.  School officials are not concerned though, saying in the Daily Journal that the district carries a substantial amount of fund balance and the shortfall will not require a deficit reduction plan.  The school is in the midst of replacing its heating and cooling systems.  The cost is being cited as the main reason for the deficit.
