Covid 19 PPP Fraud Found in Steger

Police in Will County are looking for three Steger men suspected of receiving Paycheck Protection Program Loans that were meant for businesses to make payroll during the pandemic.  28 year old Macky Sharp claimed he was running a retail store out of an apartment on Union Ave. in Steger.   46 year old Luis Velazquez is believed to have falsely claimed he was running a limousine company in Steger. Both men took out loans for over 20,000 dollars.  Police are also looking for 26 year old Zachary Perry of Steger, he’s said he was operating a catering service in Steger.  None of the businesses exist.
