One injured in car vs pedestrian accident

A person was sent to the hospital after they were hit while crossing Route 50 near Best Buy Wednesday evening. Bradley Police reports say it happened just after six Wednesday night when a car making a right-hand turn struck the pedestrian who was walking south-bound across the roadway. Reports say the pedestrian was not in the crosswalk at the time of the accident and was taken to the hospital with undisclosed injuries. The accident is still under investigation.
