Bond set for convicted sex offender under arrest for allegedly sexually abusing a 14 year old girl in the Channahon area

Bond has been set at 100,000 dollars for a convicted sex offender under arrest for allegedly sexually abusing a 14 year old girl in the Channahon area.  Court records indicate the assault occurred on October 10th.   22 year old Anthony Carbone of New Lenox has been charged with aggravated criminal sexual abuse, a class 2 felony.  Carbone was just released from prison in May where he was doing three years for the attempted sexual assault and grooming of a 13 year old in 2019.
