Manteno PD warns of farm thefts

The Manteno Police want area farmers to be aware of several recent thefts from tractors and combines. In a Facebook post, Manteno Police say someone is forcing their way into the farm equipment and is stealing the equipment’s navigation units. Officials ask farmers pay attention to where they park the equipment and say officers will be paying close attention to farm equipment they see parked in fields.,
