Woman Arrested on Weapon Charges

A 911 call about a woman hitting her two children brought police to the 600 block of south Gordon in Kankakee last night.  Upon arrival officers found the woman and the children who seemed to be calm and uninjured.  However, a check of the woman found her to have a valid firearms ID card, but not a concealed carry license.  When officers asked if she had her gun with her she said yes.  Police found the gun in her purse.  Arrested on weapons charges was Attisha M. Oliver.
