Cause of Hoopeston Fire Still Not Released

The cause of a fire at the Firestone building in Hoopeston Tuesday is still under investigation.  Hoopeston fire says flames and smoke were already shooting from the building when firefighters arrived Tuesday afternoon in the 200 block of Dixie Highway.  About a half dozen departments assisted in putting out the blaze that kept reigniting until 9 Tuesday night.  No one was reported hurt in the blaze.  What remained of the building has been taken down for safety reasons.
