District 111 School Bus Transportation Goes In-house

Kankakee School District 111 will be handling its own school bus transportation next year and will not be renewing its contract with Illinois Central School Bus Company.  The Daily Journal reports the school board voted earlier this month to make the change in an effort to solve busing problems that have kept students waiting at times up to an hour for their bus this year.
