J-Walker Arrested on Drug Charges

City police arrested a man on drug charges after he was stopped by officers for J-Walking in the 1700 block of East Locust Street in Kankakee Wednesday afternoon.  Police say Evan Moore refused to cooperate with police and would not remove his hands from his pockets.  When more tried to run he was tackled to the ground where an officer deployed a taser.  A search of Moore allegedly turned up a baggie containing a suspected rock of crack cocaine along with a baggie of marijuana.
