Tornado Strikes Near Gibson City

The National Weather Service today is confirming a tornado touch down during last night’s storms southeast of Gibson city.  Two farm homes, one on Ford County 200 North Road and another on 600 East Road suffered roof damage. Trees were uprooted and an out building and some farm equipment were destroyed, but nobody was hurt.  The national weather service has not yet assigned a rating to the twister.  Debris from the tornado was found a mile from the damaged area today.
