Will County Make Arrest in December Crete area Murder

Will County Sheriff’s police have arrested a 14 year old boy in connection with the shooting death of 25 year old Chaves Bradley of Hammond in unincorporated Crete on December 30th.     Deputies say Bradley and the 14 year old were allegedly there to complete a drug deal and ended with the 14 year old allegedly shooting Bradley through the rear window of the vehicle shortly after he arrived. An investigation led police to the juvenile’s Crete Township home where the same caliber handgun used in the shooting was found in the boy’s bedroom along with additional ammunition.  The gun had been stolen out of Naperville.   The 14 year old is charged with three counts of first degree murder along with several weapons charges.
