Second Man Sentenced for Bourbonnais Carjacking

The second of two men who carjacked a BMW in Bourbonnais in March of 2022 then fired in the direction of the victim as they drove away in his car has been sentenced to 13 years in federal prison.  30 year old Ladonta A. Tucker of Sun River Terrace and 24 year old Anycco M. Rivers of Kankakee were both convicted in November of last year.   Rivers got 17 years back in April.  The pair led police on a short chase before colliding with a county sheriff’s police squad car then tried to flee on foot but were taken into custody without incident.   The Daily Journal reports that Rivers is also charged with the shooting death of 15 year old Davarion Jones in Kankakee in July of 2021.
