Channahon man sentenced to 5 years in 2021 Stabbing

A Channahon man who stabbed another man in August of 2021 has been sentenced to 5 years in jail.  22 year old Nicholas Walker Eckert pled guilty aggravated battery. .  Eckert allegedly also pulled a knife on another man after an argument broke out between the two at a drinking establishment in the 400 block of Liberty Street in Morris.
