Lockport woman killed in accident in Peotone

A 27-year-old Lockport woman died when she was hit by a car in Peotone over the weekend. Will County Coroner, Laurie Summers says Alexandria Jadron, died just before 1:30 Saturday morning at the Silver Cross Hospital, Emergency Room in New Lenox.  Summers says Jadron was a pedestrian involved in a pedestrian vs. vehicle mishap in the 27-thousand-600 block of US-45 in Peotone, IL.  The Illinois State Police and Will County Sheriff Police is investigating the incident.  An autopsy was performed Saturday, but the Will County Coroner’s office is awaiting toxicology reports for an official cause of death.
