Diaz Fitness Hearing Continued to Next Month

The woman accused of abducting four juvenile Manteno girls at knife point from a Manteno park on July 10th before releasing them unharmed later that same day was in Kankakee County Court today.  47 year old Anita Diaz was ordered to undergo a physiological examination during her initial court appearance. According to court documents, Doctors say she is currently unfit to stand trial, but with treatment may be able to face a jury in a year or so. That’s not the final word, Kankakee County State’s Attorney Jim Rowe tells us today’s hearing has been continued to August 14^th.   Diaz has been charged with four counts of Aggravated Unlawful Restraint.  She’s being held on a 100,000 dollars bond.
