Two Hurt, one Arrested in 57 Crash

Two people were hospitalized with non-life threatening injuries in a two vehicle accident Sunday morning on I-57.  Illinois State police report the driver of a Dodge Charger was behind a Toyota Sienna at mile marker 309 when they failed to reduce speed with traffic and struck the back of the Siena. The driver of the Dodge fled the scene but was stopped near Manteno.  63 year old Ronald Brewer of Arcola was cited for no valid driver’s license, failure to reduce speed to avoid an accident and leaving the scene of a person injury traffic crash.
