Ammonia Leak in Momence, No Injuries

Momence Fire officials say yesterday’s ammonia leak at the Van Drunen Farms facility on Rt. 114 turned out to be minor. Once the leak was isolated and repaired Momence Fire Chief Jim Spoon says fire fighters ventilated the building and normal operations resumed.  Multiple ambulances were sent to the facility as a precaution, nobody was injured in the incident.
