Pregnant Woman Beaten, Baby Dies

Kankakee City police are looking for a woman in connection with the beating of a pregnant woman over the weekend to the point where she lost her unborn child.  The 17 year old victim tells police she was in her car in a parking lot of the 1600 block of East Maple Sunday when a 25 year old female acquaintance approached, pulled her out of the vehicle by her hair, and began to beat the expectant mother who was five months pregnant. City police say the baby was pronounced dead yesterday.
