2 Years for Gilman Man on Child Sex Charges

A Gilman man has been sentenced to two years in prison after pleading guilty in Livingston County Court to child sex charges.  26 year old Marcus Mateo pled guilty to traveling to meet a minor and indecent solicitation of a child.  Mateo was chatting on social media with an undercover police officer in August when he arranged to meet what he thought was an underage girl in Chatsworth for sex.  Meteo was arrested upon arrival.   He must also register as a sex offender for the next 10 years.
