Two Arrested on Gun and Drug Charges

An investigation by the Livingston County Proactive Unit led to the arrests of two people on drug and weapons charges Thursday evening.  34 year old Sinead Jones of Spring Valley and 29 year old Teiarra Jenkins of LaSalle are both charged with possession and delivery of a controlled substance.  In addition Jones is facing a charge of possession of a weapon by a felon and Jenkins has been charged with possession of a firearm with defaced serial number. Livingston County Deputies say during the investigation they seized three 30 round magazines, 50 rounds of 45 caliber hollow point ammo, a 9 mm ghost gun with no serial number and 103 sub-ox-own strips.
