Fire destroys Salina Township Garage

The Salina Township Fire Department was called out to a large garage fire last night. Reports say it was just after 10 last night when firefighters were called to the scene on 3000 North Road for a large garage with farm equipment on fire. When they got there, firefighters found heavy fire coming from the garage. Firefighters from Essex, Kankakee, Kankakee Township, Reddick and LImestone were all called in to help battle the blaze.
