A Manhattan Police Commander could be facing disciplinary action after he left his gun behind at a Lockport Noodles and Company restaurant on 159th Street on October 19th. The officer returned to the business 10 minutes later to retrieve the Smith and Wesson only to find it had already been taken. He called Lockport police to report the incident, they did a quick serial number search on the gun and found it had already been turned in at the Joliet Police Department.
