Father and Son Lose their Lives in Home Fire

A father and son died Sunday from injuries received in a house fire around 6am in the 800 block of Crystal Lane in Diamond.  The Grundy County Coroner’s office identifies the victims as 63 year old Charles Bill Tabler Jr. and 26 year old Alex Tabler.  The father died at the scene while the son passed away at the hospital.  A second son and their mother were both hospitable, there’s no word on the condition of the two. The cause of the fire, which did an estimated 300,000 dollars in damage, is still under investigation.  A Go Fund Me page has been set up to assist the family.
