Manteno police were called to a fast food restaurant on North Cypress Monday night in reference to a man who was allegedly threatening to shoot another man. Witnesses tell police they believe the man was staying at a hotel across the street. Officers made contact with 46 year old Alexander G. Okleshen of Olympia Fields in his hotel room where he admitted to being at the restaurant but denied making the threat and said he had no weapons. While a search of the room did not turn up a gun police did find an unspecified amount of suspected cocaine along with drug paraphernalia. He’s charged with possession.
