Chicago Chase Ends in Channahon

A part of I-55 southbound was shut down for about an hour this afternoon following a chase that began in Chicago this morning and ended in the Channahon area.  Police say inside the vehicle were two suspects wanted for a Chicago murder.   According to Illinois State Police the chase began about 11:30 near 147th Street and Halstead, made its way to southbound I-55 and ended when the vehicle left the roadway near Bluff Road in Channahon.  Nobody was hurt in the crash and no details on the murder charges have been released.
