Piper City Nursing Home May Be Closing

A Piper City nursing home is apparently closing its doors.  No official word of the closing has been announced, but employees are telling the Ford County Chronical they’ve been told Piper City Rehab and Living Center on South Maple Street will be shutting down on January 1st.  The business is owned by Cascade Capital Group and operated by Arcadia.  Residents and some of the staff may be transferred to another Arcadia home in the area. The nursing home was sold last month.
