Bourbonnais trustees hear first reading of tax levy ordinance

During last night’s Bourbonnais Village Board meeting, trustees heard the first reading of an ordinance that would levy taxes in the new fiscal year. Village Finance Director Tara Latz

Latz pointed out a Bourbonnais homeowner could see an increase in taxes paid to the village if the value of their property increased over the past year. Trustees will have the second reading of the ordinance and will vote on it at the next Village Board meeting on December second.
