Two Arrested for Livingston County Burglary

Two Streator men have been arrested in connection with a burglary in rural Cornell, located just north of Paxton on Rt. 23 in Livingston County. Livingston County Sheriff’s police say security video obtained during the investigation led to the arrest of Christopher L. Martinez and Anthony J. Preidis.  Preidis is charged with burglary, but charges against Martinez indicate he was armed and driving a stolen car at the time of his arrest. Along with burglary, Martinez has been charged with unlawful possession of a weapon by a felon and possession of a stolen motor vehicle.
