IL Farm Bureau sues

The Illinois Farm Bureau is suing to maintain its current status with the American Farm Bureau Federation.  In the suit, the state organization claims it was unfairly stripped of its federation membership.  The suit was filed earlier this month with the Illinois Eleventh Judicial Circuit.  The State Farm Bureau’s membership is set to expire December 20th, pending the result of the lawsuit.
