Kays are on the March Thanksgiving

While the rest of us are sleeping in on Thanksgiving, the Kankakee High School Kays Marching band will be at school at 4:30 in the morning to board a bus for Chicago.  The band is marching in the Annual Thanksgiving Parade in Chicago. The parade steps off at 8 AM at Ida B. Wells and State Street and ends at Randolph about 11 am.   The Daily Journal reports the band marched in the parade in 2022 as well.
