Gusty winds

If you wake up this morning and find some of your outdoor Christmas decorations gone, you might check your neighbor’s yard. We had a wind advisory in effect for us yesterday afternoon and evening and the peak wind gust recorded at the Greater Kankakee Airport was 48-miles-an hour at 7:35 last night. Sustained winds from about 10 yesterday morning through early this morning were recorded at 20-30 miles an hour at the airport. Today’s forecast calls for lighter winds, but we could still see gusts in the 30 mile an hour range.
