Grundy Co. Board Member Killed in Crash

A Grundy County Board Member was killed in a single vehicle accident Sunday on East Pine Bluff Road.  According to the Grundy County Coroner’s office, 48 year old Celeb Counterman was eastbound on East Pine Bluff when a patch of ice caused him to lose control.  The vehicle then rolled over ejecting Counterman in the process.  He was pronounced dead at the hospital. He had been on the board since 2020.
