The Patch Newspaper reports that the Manhattan District 114 School board, the former Superintendent and former HR Director are all named in a lawsuit charging alleged discrimination based on rejected sexual propositions, and requests for illicit meetings from the Superintendent. Susana Lukaszek’s suit also claims she was subjected to daily sexual banter and sexually explicit photographs and videos. The suit says she was subject to the abuse for three years while she served as the district’s payroll director. She also contends she had been led to believe she was in line to be the next HR director, but then Superintendent Russell Ragon, gave the job to another woman. The lawsuit alleges he is involved romantically. According to the newspaper, when she handed in her resignation letter Ragon asked that she revise it to say how much of a stud he was.
