Mother Files Lawsuit Against Matteson School District

A mother is taking legal action against the school district in Matteson after seeing video footage of her young son being dragged down a hall and kicked by a teacher’s aide.  The incident happened at Yates Elementary on November 8th.   A lawsuit has been filed against Elementary School District 159 and four unnamed adults.  The teacher’s aide, Dionne Gamble, has been charged with battery and endangering the life and health of a child.
