The official Ribbon Cutting was held Wednesday for the new home of the Kankakee County Convention and Visitors Bureau. The offices are now located at the Depot in Downtown Kankakee. Kankakee Mayor Chris Curtis was on hand for today’s grand opening and says the organization is a perfect fit for the historic train station building.
KCCVB Executive Director Nicole Gavin tells us 2025 will see new campaigns from the organization designed to attract more visitors to the area.
About 100 folks attended today’s ribbon cutting.
