No Credible Threat to Rensselaer Schools

Rensselaer Police on their Facebook page today say alleged threats made against the Rensselaer School Corporation Thursday were thoroughly investigated and found not to be credible.  School and police personnel say they spent many hours yesterday during the day and late into the evening speaking with numerous students and parents and never found any evidence that would cause concer.  Rumors posted on social media about a possible threat to the schools spread like wildfire yesterday, but in the end police found no credible threat.  They are still looking for the origin of the Facebook posting.
