Missouri Man Dies in Crash

A Missouri man was killed in a single vehicle accident over the weekend on I-55 in the Gardner area.  Illinois State police say and the Grundy County Coroner’s office says 69 year old David Murphy was killed just before 11 Friday night when his vehicle left the roadway, traveled about 100 feet through a ditch then struck a tree.  Murphy was pronounced dead at the scene.
