Madigan trial resumes

The racketeering trial of Michael Madigan resumes today following a long break for the holidays.  The former Illinois House Speaker’s attorneys were calling witnesses when the trial paused December 19th.  Madigan and longtime ally Michael McClain face charges accusing them of conspiring to participate in an array of bribery and extortion schemes.
