Two Hurt in Weekend Accident on Gardner Road at Rt. 47

An accident over the weekend sent one person to the hospital after their vehicle was struck by a Romeoville woman driving on a suspended license.  Grundy County Sheriff’s police say 40 year old Adriana Mendoza Diaz was on Eastbound on Gardner Road at Rt. 47 where she blew the stop sign and collided with another vehicle before striking a utility police breaking it in half.  Both drivers suffered non-life-threatening injuries.  Mendoza Diaz was issued multiple citations.
